One afternoon I wanted to take my daughter out to lunch. I was looking for somewhere fun on the water. After some searching, I couldn't find a good list of waterfront dining, so I decided to start one myself.
I was very excited to work with @VISITFLORIDA on this and to search for some great waterfront dining on Florida's East Coast.
I first made my way up North to start in Melbourne Florida and ended my search in Palm Beach County. I hope you're hungry and ready for some nice waterfront views.
Grills Riverside ~ Melbourne Florida
The first thing you'll notice is how big this place is! A huge deck with a tiki bar and lots of outside seating. Plus the view:
Great view of the Pineda Causeway
There's another section named, Buoy deck, and if it's too hot outside, another bar and lots of seats are inside in the air conditioning.
You can also bring your boat!
As you can imagine, fresh seafood is abundant but the extensive menu has many choices for non-seafood eaters as well.
Since it was taco Tuesday on my visit, I ordered the chicken tacos and they were delicious. Some locals were telling me the fish tacos here are famous and the Yellow fin tuna is their biggest seller. ** The most ordered desert, fried cheesecake! **

Riverwalk Cafe & Oyster Bar ~ Stuart Florida
The first thing I must revel is that the Riverwalk Cafe in not on the waterfront BUT you can see water from the window...AND it was so nice and the food is so good, I had to include it!
Look, water!
A casual but elegant dining experience located in one of Downtown Stuart's most historic buildings.
A Beautiful water view just a few steps away
The first thing you'll notice is the size...it's small, seats about 50 people. But the history and ambiance is very nice! White table cloths cover the few intimate tables that rest on the original wooden floors from 1922. A dark wooden bar shows off the history off this great location. And on the Menu? Their famous Ahi tuna nachos, hog fish, prime steak and fresh oysters. I had a 1/2 dozen and they were great! The local favorite is their homemade Bread Pudding that chef Steve Feder changes every few days.
